S/lieutnant John H TOWNLEY was a PIPER L4 observation aircraft pilot . He was MIA the 2 august 1944, at DOL DE BRETAGNE. He was missing in action and deceased the 3 august,  John TOWNLEY has been killed and his body never been found.
