George P. Lonneville
Private George P. Lonneville served in WWII as a member of Company A. 9th Armored Battalion, the 6th Division of the 1st Army. He was killed in action December 21, 1944 in the province of Moselle, France.
Pvt. George P. Lonnevtlle, 25, son of Mr.-and Mrs. Julius Lonneville, was a graduate of Marion High School. He was inducted in April, 1944 and trained in Camp Croft, S. C, He left for overseas in October with the 6th Armored Division of the First Army. He was killed, in action, Dec. 21, 1944. Besides his parents, he leaves his wife, Mrs. Edna Johnson Lonneville; two children, Ronald and Diane; and two brothers. Raymond and Arthur Bonneville of Marion.
